D&S Investigations was established in 1998. Lorne Starks & Mallie Donohoe are retired Los Angeles Police Officers, having collectively investigated over 30,000 traffic collisions, reconstructed and provided opinions on more than four-thousand traffic collisions. We have qualified as experts in various areas of Traffic Accident Reconstruction in Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange County courts.
We are members of the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigations (SATAI), Southern California Fraud Investigators Association (SCFIA), Society of Accident Reconstructionists (SOAR), California Association of Accident Reconstructionist Specialists (CAARS), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Lorne Starks is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a licensed Private Investigator, License # 16464. Lorne Starks has received accreditation as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist through the Accreditation of Certified Traffic Accident Reconstructionist (ACTAR), #1530.
Mallie Donohoe received accreditation as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist through the Accreditation of Certified Traffic Accident Reconstructionist (ACTAR), #1354.
Matthew Donohoe is a member of our group as our Biomechanist. Matthew has qualified in Los Angeles courts in the field of Biomechanics.
Todd Donohoe is a member of our group as a Licensed Chiropractor, qualified to perform medical history and treatment review.
